The Giro Empire SLX II is aimed at demanding road cyclists who love lightness, precision fit and performance.

DETAILS:

Design and Upper : The Giro Empire SLX II features a seamless, one-piece knitted Synchwire™ upper. This material incorporates ventilated mesh and TPU reinforcements, resulting in a shoe that's lightweight, breathable and durable. The classic 7-eyelet lace fastening system ensures a precise, even fit across the entire foot.
Sole and rigidity : The sole is made of forged carbon, offering excellent power transfer thanks to optimized rigidity (+20 Nm vs. previous model). This design maximizes pedaling efficiency while keeping weight to a minimum.
Comfort and fit: inside, we feature the SuperNatural Fit system with adjustable insole. This allows the arch support to be adapted to three levels (low, medium, high), optimizing comfort and performance according to the cyclist's morphology.
Weight : At around 195 g per shoe in size 43, the Empire SLX II is one of the lightest models on the high-end road market.
Compatibility : The shoe is compatible with standard 3-screw cleat systems (Look, Shimano SPD-SL), with replaceable heel pads and fixing plates.
It is particularly suitable for thin to medium-sized feet, with a tight forefoot fit. For larger feet, we recommend trying on a half-size larger or considering a different last.
