Vaude is the brand of clothing and accessories for outdoor sports, Packs'n Bags products with trendy and functional collections of bags and backpacks. But above all, VAUDE is the first sports equipment manufacturer to produce its products according to the ecological standards of the bluesign®* label, which controls the entire textile value chain.*(Bluesign is an international label for textiles. It guarantees that no toxic substances have been used during production and sets binding criteria for energy and water consumption).

VAUDE designs eco-friendly products that are manufactured with the utmost respect for natural resources. In addition, the German brand cooperates for the environment by recycling its own fabric scraps to create unique products. The aim is to prevent waste materials from ending up in the bin.

Climate neutrality
The VAUDE headquarters and all the products manufactured there are carbon neutral. The company building was renovated in 2015 and awarded the DGNB certificate.
The DGNB (German Society for Sustainable Building) awards the Sustainable Building quality label to properties (not to individual materials) that meet predefined sustainability criteria. Despite this, certain requirements are placed on the materials used in construction.
