The climbing team designed this carabiner to connect a belay system to the harness or to secure the climber during rope maneuvers.
The lightest safety carabiner in the Simond range

ADVANTAGES

Tensile strength: Large pin 22 kn, small pin 8 kn, open finger 7 kn.
Easy to open and close: small opening (17mm) and screw closure

TECHNICAL DETAILS

New patented finger opening/closing system. The spring inside the finger is held in place by a plastic pad which slides over the body of the carabiner. This new system replaces the traditional lamella system. It has the advantage of being more reliable during production assembly, as well as during use. This system has been both laboratory-tested to current standards and field-tested by our team of technical partners.
Carabiners are certified: EN 12275: 2013 and UIAA 121: 2018
Main part 99% Aluminium, 0.5% Polyoxymethylene, 0.5% Stainless steel
