Description

TheAkila LT is a lighter, shorter version of the Akila model, specially designed for technical steep skiing. It retains the same technical head as the standard model, available in a tip or hammer version, while adopting a 43 cm shorter handle that's easy to store in a backpack. Its base is cut diagonally, enabling it to act as a tip, and features a hole for attaching a leash. The integrated support wedge improves the grip of an ice axe without a handle. Positioned on the shaft, it offers a secure grip and optimum control on technical climbs.
