Cam-assisted belay device optimized for lead climbing

You'll prefer belaying to climbing! NEOX is a cam-assisted belay device for indoor and outdoor use. Ideal for lead climbing, it features an integrated wheel for extremely smooth rope sliding to give the climber quick slack. Its ergonomic handle allows comfortable control of the descent. It can be used with all single ropes from 8.5 to 11 mm.

DETAILS:

Cam-assisted belay device optimized for lead climbing:
- allows belaying for lead climbing and top-roping,
- optimized for lead climbing, thanks to the device's integrated wheel for smooth rope sliding to give the climber slack even more easily and quickly,
- comfortable belaying, thanks to cam-assisted locking: when the climber falls or rests, the rope tightens, the wheel locks, then the cam swivels and grips the rope to lock it.
Ease of use :
- easy rope installation, thanks to engraved markings on the belayer,
- gestures common to all Petzl belay devices, based on guiding the rope through the device and keeping one hand on the braking side of the rope at all times,
- cam-assisted locking for great tolerance of hand position on the braking side, whatever the angle between the climber's rope and the braking side,
- compatible with all dynamic single ropes from 8.5 to 11 mm and optimized for diameters between 8.9 and 10.5 mm.
Descent control :
- comfortable grip and easy rope release, thanks to ergonomic handle,
- 3-fold reduction in handle ratio for better control of rope travel on smaller diameters, and less effort on the handle for larger rope diameters.
Eco-design: all plastic parts, including the handle, are made from recycled polyamide.
