Designed to be the ultimate liner: Featuring the extremely comfortable Progetto X2 Air seamless chamois in the coolest minimalist short with three back pockets.

First and foremost, this short includes the premium Progetto X2 Air seamless chamois. The pad has two distinct components: a soft, stretchy layer that pampers your skin, and a separate cushioning layer with dual-density foam and gel pads for progressive cushioning. The best padding is worthless if it moves, which is why Castelli built the hip area in their Force compression fabric, which holds the padding in place while providing ventilation. The legs are light and airy with perforated fabric to keep you cool and are held in place by the gauze-like Giro Air elastic. The beauty of this leg construction is that you can adjust the length to your preference. Similarly, the top of the shorts is an exercise in minimalism. The front of the thin straps is an open knit that allows air to pass through, while the back is also narrow to stay cool. However, Castelli reinforced the yoke so the straps stay in the right place and don't bunch up. At the back, just above the waist, there are three pockets so you can wear these shorts with a T-shirt and still have room to store your gear.
