How to choose my Osprey backpack ?

The 55-liter Exos Pro, weighing nearly half a kilo less than the Exos 58 and featuring a more precise adjustment system, is the most comfortable ultralight long-distance hiking backpack in its weight class. Its highly ventilated AirSpeed™ back panel supports light loads while maintaining maximum airflow against your back, making it the ideal backpack for your long-distance adventures on the Appalachian Trail, the Tour du Mont Blanc, or elsewhere.

Removable, floating top flap with a single compartment and key holder
Four webbing attachment points on the top flap
The FlapJacket secures access to the main compartment and provides weather protection when the top flap is not in use. Removing the top flap reduces carrying capacity by 9 L and saves 80 g in weight
Interior hydration bladder pocket with central tube port at the back and Osprey Hydraclip for easier bladder attachment
The internal compression strap ensures load stability
Large front compression pocket made of fabric with expandable side panels to accommodate extra gear
Multiple attachment points on the front panel to secure additional gear
Lower side compression straps designed to secure the sleeping pad to the front panel
Deep, stretch mesh side pockets with dual access
Two ice axe loops with handle retention via upper compression straps

BACK PANEL: The 3D-stretched breathable mesh back panel ensures optimal support; the silicone print on the lumbar fabric improves the waistbelt’s grip
EXOFORM HARNESS: The shoulder straps combine inverted ventilated mesh, cut-out EVA foam, and a unique 3D-structured mesh to provide excellent support and ventilation; the ventilated mesh panel evenly distributes the load for greater comfort while maintaining breathability; 15 mm adjustable chest strap with rescue whistle
EXOFORM WAISTBAND: The EVA foam-padded waistband is stretchy for a dynamic and secure fit. The zippered pocket allows you to store your belongings.
