The Cyclite Musette / 02 is an evolved take on the classic musette used in road racing for time-saving, temporary transport of food. Quick grocery stops are a regular companion on unsupported bikepacking adventures and races. In a store or supermarket, a large bag is an advantage—one you can sling over your shoulder afterwards without losing time repacking. More often than not, the outcome of a bikepacking race is decided by smart stop strategy.
The Musette / 02 offers generous capacity at minimal weight and packs down to a very small volume. Traditional musettes can slide around on your back while riding and create imbalance—Musette / 02 prevents this with an additional strap that clips diagonally into the carry strap. This keeps the bag centered and stable on your back, even when heavily loaded with groceries. Musette / 02 demonstrates Cyclite’s core promise: questioning products down to the last detail and making them better—even a bag that seems simple at first glance.
The Musette / 02 can be stored in its built-in pouch and carried in jersey pockets or bikepacking bags, ready for use during food runs. Its straps are adjustable to accommodate riders 1.60 to 2.10 m tall.
