Description

The Cyclite Saddle Bag Large / 02 is the most spacious Cyclite saddle bag, which is easy to attach, stable, and wobble-free. It allows you to carry a significant amount of gear in the rider's slipstream. However, such bags typically tend to swing from side to side, especially when standing and pedaling. Therefore, particular attention has been paid to its stable attachment. Using aluminum hooks and a robust strap system, the bag is individually secured to each saddle rail. Thanks to the central carbon fiber strip, this creates a very stable, ultra-lightweight storage compartment. For more rigid packing with the roll-top closure, the bag features a valve for air release. Additional equipment can be secured under elastic straps on the top. Mounting points for a rear light are also included. The Saddle Bag / 02 is especially suitable for carrying items you don't necessarily need access to while riding, such as a sleeping bag, toiletries, and a change of clothes.
The bag is ultra-lightweight, robust, and weatherproof thanks to our specially developed LiteGrid-RN200T3 material. The two different weights of nylon use a special weaving technique to create a ripstop fabric, which is then coated on both sides and high-frequency welded. This results in the perfect combination of lightness and stability—for weatherproof products that are easy to clean.
The Saddle Bag / 02 requires a minimum vertical space of 23 cm between the underside of the saddle rails and the rear tire (measured with the suspension compressed for full-suspension bikes). The seat post extension, or the length of the seat post to the start of the seat stays, must be at least 15 cm. If the seat clamp protrudes towards the rear, it must be oriented towards the front to avoid rubbing. With a telescopic seat post, its travel must be taken into account to prevent the bag from touching the tire in the lower position. The Saddle Bag / 02 is also suitable for aero seatposts with a maximum width of 6 cm. It can also be used with carbon seatposts.
