Its ventilated AirZone™ back system is knitted, which on the one hand gives you stability and flexibility where you need it, and on the other encourages air circulation with a convection channel that allows excess heat to escape. The result is a very comfortable backpack that moves with you on any type of terrain.
The details of the AirZone Ultra have been designed to keep weight and bulk to a minimum, from the ultra-light compression straps that help stabilize the load, to the simplified drawstring opening for easy access. Zippered side openings give you quick access to your gear, even if it's at the bottom of the bag. Store wet gear or an extra layer of clothing in the large front pocket, and two additional stretch mesh side pockets hold a water bottle and other essentials you need for your trip. Two handy waist pockets, one zipped and the other open, are perfect for keeping snacks close at hand, and you can store your valuables safely in the internal zipped pocket.
