The new Summit 30 is the ultimate ski touring backpack, explicitly designed for

ski touring.

From more leisurely outings to ascents with more demanding descents, the versatile Summit 30 offers enthusiasts all C.A.M.P.'s experience in making ski-mountaineering backpacks. Functionality, comfort and lightness - thanks to the 100D nylon fabric construction - are the distinguishing features of a product that brings the innovations developed for racing backpacks to touring backpacks, for the benefit of leisure and the pleasure of going to the mountains. These innovations include the side-opening crampon holder, accessible without removing the backpack. But also the back, with its exclusive Full Backdoor opening, the padded shoulder straps with external edging and the numerous pockets designed for specific functions (including the one for the shovel and probe, immediately identifiable and easily accessible in case of need). In short: if C.A.M.P. has ski-mountaineering in its DNA, the Summit 30 best represents this fantastic passion.

DETAILS

  • Made from lightweight, durable 100D triple ripstop nylon
  • Side ski rack, with retractable straps equipped with quick-release buckles
  • Tunnel crampon compartment with side zip opening, accessible without removing the backpack and connectable to the main compartment via an internal zip
  • Double ice-axe holder with retractable and possibly removable upper straps, aluminum lower attachments and blade holder
  • Ergonomic, ventilated back, with large Full Backdoor opening and interior pocket (can also be used as a hydrobag holder)
  • Padded shoulder straps with outer edge for added comfort and gear-carrying straps
  • Waistband with elastic pocket on left and gear loop on right
  • Height-adjustable chest strap
  • Side pockets with magnetic closure and internal elastic volume for gloves, skins or other items
  • Internal elastic pockets for small items and accessories
  • Separate front pocket for shovel and probe, immediately identifiable and accessible in case of emergency
  • Elastic front pocket for wet items such as skins or T-shirts
  • Top-roll external closure and additional internal drawcord for better load organization
  • Retractable and possibly removable elastic mesh helmet holder, to be hooked onto the backpack's special webbing loops
