This ultra-soft, sustainably made baby carrier is designed to carry children from birth to about three years of age in the ergonomic frog position, ensuring a rounded back posture. Moms and dads can carry their child on their front or back. The baby carrier was developed in collaboration with parents and babywearing consultants. Special attention was paid to the carrier’s ergonomics. The seat width and back length are adjustable to fit the child’s size. The roll-up headrest can be used as protection against the weather or as a privacy shield. A unique feature: the waist straps and shoulder straps are ultra-lightweight and highly breathable thanks to the mesh fabric. This allows parents to enjoy optimal thermal comfort and a great deal of freedom of movement. When carrying the baby on the front, the patented shoulder straps are crossed at the back and fastened to the front in just a few steps. The baby carrier is very lightweight: it weighs only 550 grams. The special needs of babies were a top priority when selecting materials free of toxic substances and BPA. A soft blend of hemp and recycled polyester ensures ideal body temperature regulation. VAUDE’s Green Shape label guarantees an eco-friendly, functional product made from sustainable, bluesign®-certified materials.
