ASSEMBLY AND DISASSEMBLY
1) Find the perfect location and clean the roof of the car here.
2) Lightly moisten the suction cup and press it firmly onto the roof. Pump on the piston until the air gap is complete. As the roof is not perfectly flat start with the suction cups of the center then those of the side.
3) Remove the front wheel from the bike and attach the fork to the bracket, using the provided 9mm fast Rassine shaft or the fork shaft for a thru axle.
4) Once the front fork is fixed, find the ideal position for the rear suction cup and attach it to the roof as in step 2.
5) Attach the rear wheel to the suction cup by means of the strap attachment by tightening as much as possible to avoid any movement (Be careful not to open your sunroof if the suction cups are fixed on it).
6) To remove your bike from the bike carrier, first remove the strap from the rear wheel and then unscrew the fork from the fork carrier. Be careful not to be dragged by the weight of the bike at the risk of damaging your car.
7) With the tips of your fingers lift the lip of the suction cup to let air in and take it off the roof. Once air enters the piston rod will come out and you can remove the sucker
8) Be careful to adjust the mounting angle of the fork supports when mounting several bikes to prevent the handlebars from touching during transport. "
Positions of suckers
1) Do not ride the bikes with the handlebars toward the rear of the vehicle
2) Do not ride the bike across the direction of travel
3) Mount the suction cups as close as possible to the edge of the roof where the strength is the best.
4) On the estate and SUV make sure that the rear wheel does not go lower than the rim of the bumper
5) When driving, do not open the sunroof if the suction cups are mounted on it.
Maintenance and repair
1) Store your Rassine bike carrier in a place at room temperature and dry. Avoid direct sunlight and avoid contact with other acidic or alkaline objects or products.
2) Place the suction cups in the Rassine transport bag to avoid any contact with a sharp object that could damage them.
3) The pumps must be cleaned regularly. To clean them firmly pull the plunger out of the pump, clean the inside with a soft, clean cloth and dry the plunger.
4) The piston must be wiped and cleaned as well as the inner seal. All must then be greased with the grease provided. WARNING! Do not ride on a vehicle equipped with a sticker cover. Risk of bubbles or peeling.
