Description

Designed to handle the most torrential downpours, the Fineline Stretch Rain Shell is Black Diamond's most complete rain jacket. Combining BD.dry™ waterproof/breathable/windproof technology with an ultra-stretch membrane and a comprehensive set of features, the Fineline provides reliable protection when the weather turns nasty.
With DWR-treated zipped underarm vents, two zipped front hand-rest pockets and a waterproof main zipper, the Fineline is geared up for the wettest conditions while being able to adapt quickly to slightly better weather. Featuring underarm gussets and ultra-stretch fabric, the Fineline offers superior mobility and durability. The climbing helmet-compatible hood means it can be used for mountaineering in unstable weather conditions. The Fineline features adjustable hem and cuffs for a customized fit. When conditions improve, this Jacket can be stowed away in its right sleeve pocket, and clipped easily to a harness or pack thanks to its carabiner loop.

TECHNOLOGIES:

BD.Dry 2.5L: 2.5L jackets are made up of three parts: a DWR-treated outer membrane, an inner membrane and a half-layer printed on the inside of the membrane, against the skin. The DWR-treated outer face offers a water-repellent effect, meaning that droplets literally roll off the hydrophobic DWR fabric. Water column: 10,000 mm Breathability: 10,000 g/m2/24 h
PFC Free DWR: DWR treatment (DWR = durable water repellent) uses no PFCs, also known as PFAS, so you can stay dry without having to resort to "eternal chemicals".
