This lightweight (65g), compressible jacket protects you from the wind and light showers. A must-have that now features numerous reflective details,

the vest is the Swiss Army knife of cycling clothing. Worn over a short- or long-sleeved jersey, it can be used as an intermediate or outer layer, depending on temperatures and conditions. It always finds a place in the back pocket of the jersey, knowing that you're riding with 55 grams of top-of-the-range protection against the elements.

The Cosmic Wind Vest helps cyclists retain essential warmth when the weather turns cool, protect against the most insidious wind, and thwart showers, like an ultra-light shield. Managing body temperature is a balancing act for the cyclist, which is why Mavic has incorporated a series of laser perforations in the back panel to prevent overheating

To ride like the wind, or even a little faster, you need to be prepared for all eventualities. Weighing in at just 70g, the Cosmic Wind Jacket is lighter than space dust, and fits in a jersey pocket more easily than a cereal bar (some are more ergonomic, but that's rare).

Always there when you need it, its lightness and ease of packing mean you can often forget about it, even if it means braving the rain and calling yourself giddy. However, if you do deploy it, don't be shy: its reflective markings and elegant styling are likely to attract the attention of passers-by.

The close-fitting cut and elasticated waist and cuffs prevent it from flapping in the wind like an unmoored sail. It also keeps body heat where it's needed most, without affecting range of motion, thanks to the elasticity of its stretch fabric.

To maximize climate control, our textile engineers have incorporated a ventilation flap in the back and laser-perforated Japanese nylon on the sides to wick away sweat and maintain breathability.
Among the high-end finishes, the Cosmic Wind Jacket features an injected zipper with easy-grip pull tab, plus reflective cuffs and hems for improved visibility in low-light conditions.

Whether navigating through space or staying out of the elements, this jacket repels the strongest winds and most insidious rains, while preserving breathability and range of motion.

Protection against wind and light rain:
The highly technical Japanese nylon layer offers a high degree of wind resistance and repels light showers. Elasticated cuffs and waistband keep wind and cold air

out.

Freedom of movement and lightness:
Stretch fabric and pre-shaped sleeves optimize your range of motion. The fitted profile keeps the wind out and body heat in. The jacket packs away into its own pocket and fits into your jersey pocket, weighing just 65g.
