Soft, water-resistant windproof jacket that offers basic protection for variable spring and fall conditions or long, cool-weather summer runs.
DESCRIPTION:
With enhanced front protection and improved back breathability, the redesigned UMA GTV Spring Fall jacket is more versatile than any UMA jacket ever produced. It features two new technologies: the windproof, waterproof and thermal membrane of our new AIRBLOCK line on the chest, shoulders and sides, and a VENTAMESH insert on the back, a new ultra-breathable textile. The abdominal yoke and collar retain thermoregulation thanks to the lightweight insulation of RX EVO Light. The protection offered by the bib, together with high breathability and heat dissipation at the back, maintain an ideal personal microclimate in cool, variable weather. The improved cut layers well with lightweight summer jerseys or the GT Spring Fall C2 jersey, adding versatile protection to any layering system.
DETAILS
- AIRBLOCK.888 is a mid-range membrane from our new AIRBLOCK family of in-house-designed technical membranes. It insulates, protects against wind and water and maintains your microclimate in variable weather. The RX EVO Light adds lightweight insulation with flexibility and breathability in the belly and collar. At the back, a yoke of our new Ventamesh textile offers more two-way flexibility, for a streamlined fit while increasing ventilation to prevent overheating in temperate conditions. Airblock softshells are patented and designed in our Lugano textile laboratory.
- The streamlined regularFit cut, with ultra-stretch textiles, eliminates the need for awkward waist elastics and armhole seams. Fewer chest and shoulder restrictions offer greater comfort over long distances and facilitate layering.
TECHNOLOGIES
- LouvreTec: these clavicle slits remove excess fabric to prevent chest creases when riding.
- zeroPressure Waist: waist construction designed in a soft, ultra-elastic material to improve comfort and support at the belly, without pressure or pinching.
- Raw Cut Cuff: seamless armholes reduce bulk and friction for layering or storage.
- Reflective elastic: makes the back of the hem more visible in overcast and low-light conditions, when extra protection is essential.
