DESCRIPTION

This jacket is the ideal model to go fast on those in-between days when it's too hot to wear a jacket and too cold to wear just a jersey. Usually on those days you might have to wear a vest and cuffs, but this jacket performs better. Rather than completely blocking the wind from coming into contact with the body, the stretchy fabric lets some air through. It blocks enough air to keep you cool but lets enough through to keep you dry. Polartec® Alpha® insulation at key points works in concert with the outer fabric to increase warmth with virtually no added weight and no reduction in breathability. The jacket has a close fit, making it the most aerodynamic Castelli jacket. Not because you need aerodynamics in winter, but because we believe in the concept of "Fast Is Fun". The slim fit makes this model warmer than minimalist fabrics usually allow. Other features focus strictly on rider comfort: The YKK® Vislon® zipper slides easily to manage ventilation with one hand. Three roomy back pockets let you pack everything you need for long rides. The design features a short cut so it doesn't roll up and over in the front or back. Reflective details make you more visible. The fabric is water repellent to protect you from splashes and short showers.
