needs the extra chain retention of a clutch derailleur.
For those riders, we offer a clutchless version of our innovative Advent derailleur. Without the clutch in the system, shifting effort at the lever is reduced.
While capable of handling an 11-46T cassette, the rear derailleur is the perfect choice for commuter or touring bikes that can benefit from the use of a wide-range gearing system.
The super-short clevis version has a cage small enough to fit on a bike with 20″ wheels. The pawl clutch and return spring tension have been finely tuned to compensate for the smaller cage and lighter chain, allowing the derailleur to deliver fast, precise shifts with smoothness. The all-metal body resists impact and provides additional rigidity
