The redesigned and expanded “toe reinforcement” zone provides an ergonomic fit and improved proprioception, allowing your toes to spread intuitively upon landing for a natural, fluid stride. A special mesh around the ankle, lighter than a traditional running sock, provides gentle support when you pick up the pace. The signature arch support prevents the fabric from twisting and causing irritation in the heat, while a terry cloth reinforcement around the big toe keeps your toenails from turning black as the miles pile up. Say goodbye to blisters! The signature 3D.Dots and new Flat.Dots on this ultralight model save space and weight while delivering high performance. Along the Achilles tendon, they provide extra protective support and ventilation during fast runs. Underfoot, a smart pattern comprising 50% 3D.Dots and 50% Mesh.Dots cushions impact and adds grip within the shoe. It also provides gentle micro-stimulation to increase venous return and improves ventilation by increasing airflow between the dots. The sock height is lower than that of the trail and cycling models to meet the demands of road running.
