This modern take on the knitted cover-over sock retains all the attributes of its historic predecessor: soft fabric, stretch and slim fit; but propels it into the modern era thanks to water-resistant membrane technology.

- Will they keep my feet dry? The membrane on these shoe covers is waterproof, so assuming you don't drag them across cobblestones and puncture them, they'll keep your feet dry. There are limits though? garden hoses and knee-deep puddles for example, will likely find a way inside.
