Description

The Fox Float X shock has been developed to meet the growing demand for bottled shocks on trail and all-mountain bikes.
The reservoir size has been optimized to match the shock's center distance, making it compatible with more frames.
In terms of operation, the Float X adopts a high-capacity piston, a brand-new MCU end-of-stroke buffer and an independent compression/locking circuit (adjustable to two positions).
All the compression, rebound and locking adjustment knobs, as well as the air valve, have been repositioned for easier access.

The best technology Fox has to offer is available on Factory Series shock absorbers, with the genuine, velvet-smooth Kashima coating. This Float X model features the new 2-position Open/Firm lever that retains low-speed compression adjustment

  • Reservoir with secondary compression circuit for improved bump sensitivity, tire grip and downhill performance.
  • Base valve for lower IFP pressures without cavitation.
  • Volume spacers in precise increments for ultra-fine adjustment of air springs.
  • MCU damper for smooth end-of-stroke progressivity.
  • Single-turn LSC (Low Speed Compression) adjuster with 12 numbered, tool-free positions.
  • Independent circuit for firm mode via 2-position on-the-fly adjustment.
  • Wide rebound adjustment range to suit all preferences and terrains.
  • Optimized reservoir lengths for each shock absorber size to reduce weight and improve fit.
  • Hydraulic damping function to eliminate harshness at full extension.
  • Optimized air volumes for lower operating pressures and greater adjustment range.
  • Convenient air valve location for frame mounting and pump access.
  • Bearing material compatible on both sides.

  • Independent 2-position open/close lever.
  • Low-speed rebound - 16 clicks.
  • Low-speed compression - 11 clicks.
