Description

When it comes to getting maximum performance with minimum weight, the Performance 9 M mattress is a must-have. It is designed for use in the mountains. With its light weight and compact size, the mattress fits into even the smallest backpacks. Yet, thanks to innovative thermal insulation, it can handle even the coldest winter nights. Instead of a down or synthetic fiber filling, a reflective film divides the interior of the mattress into separate convection chambers: The air warmed by the sleeper circulates at the top while the cold from the ground is blocked at the bottom. The heat emitted by the sleeper is also reflected back. The waffle-patterned structure of the new compartmentalized design provides a flatter surface and improved sleeping comfort for all types of sleepers (back, stomach, or side). The straight side profile also allows two mattresses to be joined together to form a "double bed." The valve on the Performance 9 M mattress is compatible with the VAUDE air bag or inflator, and a repair kit is also included.
