Shimano Ultegra ST-R8170 brake levers bring improved modulation and control to every ride using Shimano's proven Servo Wave technology. The all-new Di2 platform, used on both Dura-Ace and Ultegra, makes the controls clearly distinguishable, while offering faster, more reliable wireless shifting.

The BR-R8170 Ultegra caliper offers improved modulation, a quieter braking system and an easier-than-ever bleeding process. Despite its smaller size, the system is quieter than ever and simpler to maintain.

J-Kit (Easy Hose Joint system)
On braking systems equipped with a J-Kit brake line coupling, the brake lever features an integrated pinch joint (olive), making assembly and disassembly of the entire brake line considerably easier.
