The 2.0 groundsheet is rectangular in size and fits perfectly to the Samaya2.0, Samaya ASSAUT2 8K and Samaya ASSAUT2 ULTRA.
For only 155 grams and 0.8 liters in folded volume, this footprint will allow you to fully exploit the 4-season technicality of your Samaya® tent. It will reinforce the resistance to abrasion and perforation by creating a first protective layer between the ground and your tent.
It is not useful to take it for your mountaineering outings because the snow does not risk damaging your ground. On the other hand, we recommend it for all your trekking outings, where the terrain on which you have your tent is uncertain.
Each side of the groundsheet has a specific coating. The part in direct contact with the ground is siliconized to increase abrasion resistance. The surface in contact with the tent is covered with a PU coating which, thanks to its sticky appearance, will prevent the two fabrics from sliding over each other.
