DESCRIPTION:
These durable synthetic sleeping bags are lined with 100% recycled Stratus™ insulation, lined and covered with heavy-duty recycled Atmos™ 20D ripstop fabric. Strong, warm and reliable, they dry quickly and resist condensation or moisture.
The Solar Eco 1 is insulated with a double layer of Stratus™ insulation arranged in an accordion fashion to trap warm air. Internal elastic padding brings the liner and insulation closer to the wearer's body to reduce cold air pockets. Localized padding simply means that the seams that hold the insulation in place have been minimized to reduce the risk of cold spots. Measuring only 30cm x 18cm, it's incredibly compact. Ideal for summer climbing trips, warm weather bivouacs, and hikes.
The Solar Eco has an adjustable hood that can be tightened around the face to keep out the cold and a ruff to keep heat from escaping. Its zipper along ¾ of the length of the bag, has an extra flap that prevents drafts, as well as a hook and loop protection. Its ample sarcophagus shape offers space to find your most comfortable sleeping position, and put on extra clothes if the thermometer suddenly drops during the night
