Description
The Mountain 600 Evo combines the traditional styling of the Mountain 600, one of Danner's best-loved hiking shoes, with premium components to create a shoe with the stability and support you need for long-distance hiking. A waterproof, breathable GORE-TEX liner keeps feet dry during long, rainy days on the trail. A TPU upper distributes weight evenly underfoot and ensures stability on rough terrain, while allowing your foot to enjoy the rebound and cushioning benefits of the Vibram SPE midsole.
DETAILS:
- Full-grain leather upper: To guarantee its quality, the leather undergoes six different tests before being selected. Full-grain leathers are the most resistant and durable.
- GORE-TEX: Waterproofing meets scalability, combining outdoor performance with environmental responsibility. These liners use 45% post-consumer recycled materials to deliver the 100% waterproof, breathable performance you expect from a GORE-TEX liner.
- Two lacing options: Because you can never have too many laces, this pair comes with both round and flat laces.
- Removable OrthoLite ECO insole: Three layers of varying density are combined for maximum cushioning and support. This sole is made from recycled rubber and Bio-Oil for better heat dissipation and air circulation.
- Vibram® SPE midsole: This rubberized EVA midsole retains the same cushioning properties as traditional EVA, but is more durable and doesn't damage as easily. This technology improves rebound, comfort and support.
- Vibram® Fuga Traction outsole: With its self-adapting lugs and specially formulated Megagrip compound, this outsole offers incredible grip on wet and dry surfaces. Vibram® Traction Lug technology increases the surface area of the outsole for enhanced traction.
- Recycled materials: In addition to the recycled materials in the lining and footbed, this model also features a collar and lining made from 100% recycled textiles.
