For decades, the RENEGADE model has embodied the perfect fit. To reinforce this characteristic, the new RENEGADE EVO GTX MID has been enhanced with specific elements. In fact, the upper has been crafted to ensure even greater comfort, with the inside of the front section designed entirely from a single piece. With no superfluous seams, the nubuck adapts to the foot's morphology to prevent rubbing and relieve pressure on the big toe joint. The two-zone lacing system also contributes to comfort, with redesigned locking hooks for even easier adjustment to individual needs. Added to this is a waterproof, breathable GORE-TEX membrane. The sole of the new RENEGADE has also been redesigned. The injection-molded midsole is composed of two cushioning sections. The first part is made of LOWA® DYNAPU® while the second, more compact part is combined with the CROSS OVER FRAME structure for optimum support. What's more, the new VIBRAM REN TRAC® outsole offers excellent grip.
DETAILS & TECHNOLOGIES:

- VIBRAM RENE TRAC®: CLOSE TO THE GROUND: The RENEGADE EVO GTX MID is equipped with a Vibram outsole. For many years, this Italian manufacturer has been one of the market leaders in high-quality soles.
- GORE-TEX: OPTIMAL PROTECTION AGAINST WEATHER: Guaranteed protection against the elements, even in heavy rain or snow: the RENEGADE EVO GTX MID is equipped with a GORE-TEX membrane. This innovative technology makes the boots waterproof and breathable.
- DOUBLE INJECTION: WHEN SHOE AND SOLE ARE ONE: To guarantee cushioning and comfort, the sole of the RENEGADE EVO GTX MID is attached to the upper by a sophisticated injection-molding process. To achieve this, the upper part of the shoe is placed in a specially designed mold: several layers of polyurethane foam are then injected into this mold, so that the sole becomes one with the upper.
- SUPPORT FRAME: A COMFORTABLE STRUCTURE - The midsole of the RENEGADE EVO GTX MID supports the foot with its LOWA MONOWRAP® structure, for optimum comfort. This three-dimensional midsole design was developed by LOWA in 1995: the structure surrounds the foot and supports it on uneven terrain. On shoes with SUPPORT FRAME, the entire sole is slightly raised.
- TWO ZONE LACING: FOR A SHOE THAT FITS LIKE A GLOVE - Featuring two-zone lacing technology, the RENEGADE EVO GTX MID model features separate lacing zones on the forefoot and upper. In this way, the shoe can be adapted to the foot anatomy and laced differently for ascents and descents.
- LOWA DYNAPU®: DAMPENING PROPERTIES FOR LIGHTWEIGHT DRIVING - The midsole has a major influence on the way the foot moves and the shoe's cushioning. The midsole of the RENEGADE EVO GTX MID is made from a unique synthetic material: LOWA DynaPU®. Its special feature: even when compressed a thousand times, it retains all its cushioning force. As a result, the shoes that use it have excellent cushioning properties, even after many kilometers.
