isdesigned for first-time hikers. Comfortable from the very first fitting, it is versatile and functional, suitable for all hikers who set off on short or long walks.
Inaddition to the Nubuck and mesh upper, technical details include the Gore-Tex Bluesign membrane for guaranteed waterproofing, and the RECCO system for traceability in the event of rescue

- UGHT: The upper is made primarily of oiled Nubuck, with breathable, hard-wearing mesh combined with injected PU on the sides.
- LINING: GORE-TEX BlueSign membrane, DWR-free, water-repellent and PFCec-free.
- SOLE BLOCK: The PRESA HIK-04 sole has been developed for versatile use in trekking and fast hiking. The midsole incorporates dual density in the heel to increase the feeling of comfort while walking, while a medial shank optimizes foot stability. The outsole is designed to perform on all types of terrain.

- ACTIVFIT SYSTEM: ACTIVfit is a construction system that develops different lasts, soles and models designed specifically for women's and men's feet. The models are designed and built to offer the best performance in various outdoor activities. Thanks to its experience and research, SCARPA offers absolute comfort. When we say 'absolute', we mean a subjective advantage that becomes objective comfort. This line sets a high quality standard for better performance, comfort, style and durability.
- ACTIVimpact TECHNOLOGY: ACTIVimpact is a process applied in the manufacture of insoles. This technology uses materials whose physical and chemical characteristics will absorb the negative shocks caused by the ground and improve cushioning, in order to make the most of the energy expended during activity.
- PRESA: Presa® is the ultimate result of the SCARPA Group's insole R&D. An environment of technological exploration and innovation, where experience and scientific research merge. Each Presa® insole is carefully developed with the footwear's context of use in mind. Measuring key performance indicators (including wet and dry grip and resistance) is essential to choosing the best sole for the activity for which the shoe has been designed.
- GORE TEX: Products designed with a GORE-TEX membrane are waterproof, windproof and durable, yet highly breathable. These products will stand the test of time, because they have been created to guarantee safety, protection and maximum comfort on any terrain.
- RECCo: RECCO® technology makes you visible in avalanche conditions. This two-part technology consists of RECCO® reflectors integrated into SCARPA ski boots and RECCO® detectors used by over 800 rescue groups worldwide. The technology enables precise victim location using harmonic radar without interfering with avalanche transceivers. RECCO® technology makes the search faster, better structured and increases the chances of being found in time. On Maestrale models, the RECCO® reflector is installed under the Velcro® strap on the right boot.
