Designed for comfort with extra room in the forefoot, this lightweight leather hiking boot is made with a special Hallux Valgus `Bunion' last.

DESCRIPTION:

Soft, comfortable shoes free of discomfort - unfortunately, that's not the reality for many women hikers with bunion issues. That's where the Alta Bunion II leather hiking boot comes in. It was specifically designed for women with hallux valgus thanks to its Bunion Last last. The last provides extra space around the base of the big toe joint and the forefoot. Combined with optimized seams in this area, the extra space ensures pain-free hiking comfort. In addition, a reinforced PU foam sole absorbs shock for a smooth ride. The combination of a durably waterproof GORE-TEX lining and a high-quality nubuck leather upper makes the Alta Bunion II a comfortable and reliable partner for hiking in terrain ranging from flatter regions to easier hut-to-hut hikes in the Alps.

Vibram sole

Vibram is a manufacturer of high-end soles for hiking, climbing and trail shoe brands. These soles are made of high performance rubber materials to provide great resistance, better traction and outstanding grip on difficult mountain terrain and in all weather conditions.

For hiking, the design can be either narrow or wide in order to bring more precision or more stability to your every step. Note that the height of the crampon also plays an important role in mountain climbing. The higher the cleat, the more you will gain in clearance and ease in unstable rocky sections..

Nubuck Leather

It is a treatment on the grain side of the leather (upper part of the leather), giving it a smoother and more resistant aspect for the practice of hiking in the mountains.
