It's the secret to a comfortable climb: the MAURIA EVO GTX Ws has proven itself on the most demanding routes. Specially designed for women, this high-quality nubuck mountain boot is not afraid of rough terrain. It is equipped with an upper edge designed to ensure maximum comfort, and perfectly fits the anatomy of women's feet. The Bi-Density sole has a flexible insert in the heel and forefoot for added cushioning, while the rest of the sole ensures maximum stability. Finally, to resist wind and weather, LOWA has equipped this model with a GORE-TEX lining.

  • OUTSIDE MATERIAL: 100% Nubuck. Nubuck is a full grain leather whose grain side has been finely sanded, which gives it its velvety appearance. The nubuck shines by its longevity, its robustness and its porosity. Depending on the desired style, it can be left raw or oiled or waxed.
  • VIBRAM® APPTRAIL II WS: The MAURIA EVO GTX Ws model is equipped with a Vibram® sole. For many years, this Italian manufacturer has been one of the market leaders in high-quality soles. The VIBRAM® APPTRAIL II Ws sole has a modern, self-cleaning profile. These qualities are reinforced by a very pronounced heel, which is very pleasant on downhill slopes, regardless of the type of terrain.
  • GORE-TEX: OPTIMUM PROTECTION AGAINST THE ELEMENTS. Guaranteed protection from the elements, even in heavy rain or snow: the MAURIA EVO GTX Ws is equipped with a GORE-TEX membrane. This innovative technology makes the shoes waterproof and breathable.
  • TWO ZONE LACING FOR A SHOE THAT FITS LIKE A GLOVE. Featuring two-zone lacing technology, the MAURIA EVO GTX Ws has separate lacing zones on the forefoot and upper. This allows the shoe to be adapted to the foot anatomy in a customized way and laced differently for ascents and descents.
  • ROLLER EYELETSUNE: PERFECT FLUIDITY OF MOVEMENT. The metal buckles of the MAURIA EVO GTX Ws contain small balls that minimize friction so that the laces can slide through the eyelets without friction.
  • X-LACING® - SO YOU NEVER LOSE YOUR FOOTING. The tongue stays in place without slipping or creating uncomfortable pressure points: for the MAURIA EVO GTX Ws, LOWA has opted for X-LACING® technology. This special lacing fixes the tongue both vertically and horizontally. Since it is independent of the individual instep height, the shoe remains adaptable to all anatomies. Thanks to this technology, the pressure of the laces is not only exerted on the clasps, but is distributed evenly over the entire tongue.
  • FLEXFIT®: COMFORT WITH EVERY STEP. A flexible shoe upper allows the foot to move more freely during walking, saving energy (especially when climbing) and increasing comfort. For the MAURIA EVO GTX Ws model, LOWA has therefore incorporated a flexible section and a "Lace Loop" tightening system in this flex zone. This technology includes movable eyelets and a flexible lacing hook to improve heel support and facilitate foot flexing.
  • LOWA FLEX®: MOVABLE EYELETS FOR INCREASED COMFORT. To ensure maximum flexibility, the MAURIA EVO GTX Ws' eyelets are attached to separate lacing sections. These sections are made of soft leather or textile materials with a soft surface to avoid friction zones. Thanks to the movable eyelet arrangement, the lacing can also be individually adjusted to avoid unnecessary pressure on specific points. In addition, the tongue can be inserted securely.
  • C4-TONGUE - TAILORED TO THE ANATOMY OF THE FOOT. The special tongue of the MAURIA EVO GTX Ws significantly improves the comfort of the shoe. For example, the tongue is more padded on the outside of the foot and has a soft end on the top. This asymmetrical cushioning ensures that the different areas of the foot are effectively supported. To respect the anatomy of the foot, the ankle recesses are placed slightly higher on the inner side of the shoe than on the outer side.   • RESPECTING THE FEMALE PLANET ANATOMY: To ensure an optimal fit, the lasts used to design the MAURIA EVO GTX Ws shoes are specially adapted to the female anatomy.
