Description
The Magneto cassette hub has a magnetic system that engages using the force of two magnets that allow the ratchet ring to engage. The simplicity of the system is also ideal for customization. With ONLY ONE moving part, assembly is as easy as it gets and significantly reduces overall weight.
We use heat-treated CrMo caps instead of aluminum to be rigid and prevent oscillations that can form over time and they are CNC machined on the outside and inside to achieve almost the same weight. The shell is made from a much stronger 7075 aluminum and features the recessed spoke holes we created with our classic front hub. The driver, end caps and bolts use a rustproof process which also gives the hub an impressive color finish.
Finally, we wanted this hub to be as good as possible, which is why we have it made in Europe to achieve the best possible quality.
Notes:
The final hub has a 10mm bolt. / 3/8 "from drive side with 14mm section. OD to fit bracket.
Only works with 6mm dropouts. and more. For thinner legs, a 14 mm washer. ID is required.
The female version is not suitable for use with the ankle on the training side.
Magneto hubs have thicker flanges for extra strength, so we recommend spokes with a wider J-bend.
Spokes with a tighter J-bend also work, but it is necessary to bend the spokes slightly when installing. This can be an aesthetic problem as it can mark the flange at times, but once the wheel is tensioned it works perfectly.
