Description

The Cycl-e XT-Sport tire is n to guarantee the total safety and reliability of Pirelli tires, even on dirt roads, and thus prolong the pleasure of using an electric vehicle outside urban centers .

On the Crossterrain models , Pirelli gave priority to adherence on accidental soil and easy terrain. In this regard, it has introduced a feature that is sensitive in abrupt maneuvers on slippery surfaces by increasing lateral mechanical adherence.

The tread of the Cycl-e range consists of two layers of mixture: a cap compound, in contact with the asphalt, and a base with a puncture-resistant function.

The formulation of the first layer ensures safe driving until today on the tires of this segment. This ensures a very good driving safety, a great comfort and above all an excellent maneuverability on dry or wet surfaces and on different types of shoes (in particular pavers, pedestrians, etc.) by guaranteeing precision inherent to high performance Pirelli tires.

The base compound has been inserted to prevent breakage or external bodies from piercing the cover. In addition to being a physical barrier because of its high thickness, it has been specially formulated to incorporate sharp objects and avoid tire punctures.

In this sport version , the Crossterrain has a continuous center band, its number of grooves is reduced and the longitudinal orientation of its tread pattern ensures optimum fluidity and speed.
