Description

Specifically designed to meet the needs of road and light off-road terrain, the Angel™ XT Urban is the perfect choice for everyday adventure around town. With its studded thread pattern, inherited from the Pirelli MT60™ RS, this tire offers agile handling , comfort, grip and traction on dirt and gravel. This is due to the different shape of the studs: lower in the central part for better rolling on asphalt, higher on the side part to face light off-road terrain. The bike-derived profile provides superior grip when you lean in. The Angel™ XT Urban meets ECE-R75 and ECE-R88 certification requirements and is suitable for both traditional and e-bikes.

PROCompound Urban is a special silica-based rubber formulation that maximizes grip and mileage, two fundamental characteristics for urban cycling in all weather conditions.

The Angel™ Urban line meets ECE-R75 certification, which means the tires meet European standards specific to the needs of electric bicycles with speeds up to 50 km/h (31 mph).

The reflective tape meets the approval requirements of European regulation ECE-R88 that reflective tape emits sufficiently visible light even at an unfavorable angle.

The HyperBELT construction is the city-specific solution that focuses on puncture protection: the 60 tpi nylon casing protects the tire from cuts while an additional 5 mm rubber layer offers extra protection from external objects such as nails and thorns.
HyperBELT is a tough, durable construction that handles the common obstacles of urban cycling.

The 2022 model is again made in Italy.
