What to do if you are in between bike sizes?
If you are on the edge of two different bike sizes, don't worry, you'll probably be ok on either size (rather than thinking that one size will be awful and the other will fit). Indeed, bikes are adjustable: the seatpost can slide up and down, the saddle can move backwards and forwards and you can even switch out parts like the stem for different sized ones to help the bike fit better.
Finding out whether or not you should pick a bigger or a smaller frame is sometimes as simple as personal preference, but there are a few simple ways to work out which might suit best:
- If you’re flexible, you might prefer a shorter head tube, so the smaller size might work out better for you. You can use a longer stem to make the reach more comfortable.
- On a bigger bike, the reach to the handlebars will be longer. This means that if you have proportionally longer arms, you might be more comfortable on a bigger frame.

The Cube Stereo One77's frame is based on our proven four-bar suspension design and Agile Trail Geometry, for superb suspension performance and dependable handling in a huge range of trail conditions. With a flip chip and two mounting points for air and coil, the rear suspension setup is designed to be progressive – and there's an angle adjustment insert so you can tweak the geometry to suit your own preference. The frame is equally happy with an air or coil shock, and covered bearings, internally routed cables and a threaded bottom bracket mean you can spend more time shredding and less time wrenching. Simply put, it redefines what a big-travel, big-wheeled bike can do.
For those times when you don't want to be bringing a knife to a gunfight, the Cube Stereo One77 Pro has got your back. Carefully tuned geometry and kinematics work with the Fox 38 Float fork and Float X2 Performance shock to suck up rocks and roots whole, and spit them back out in bite-sized chunks. Sram's GX Eagle 1x12 gears make light work of any descent – or climb. And Magura's powerful MT5 hydraulic disc brakes bring the Newmen Evolution wheels to a halt on demand, whatever the conditions. Add a dropper post for full control, and you're all set for the mountains.
