What to do if you are in between bike sizes?
If you are on the edge of two different bike sizes, don't worry, you'll probably be ok on either size (rather than thinking that one size will be awful and the other will fit). Indeed, bikes are adjustable: the seatpost can slide up and down, the saddle can move backwards and forwards and you can even switch out parts like the stem for different sized ones to help the bike fit better.
Finding out whether or not you should pick a bigger or a smaller frame is sometimes as simple as personal preference, but there are a few simple ways to work out which might suit best:
- If you’re flexible, you might prefer a shorter head tube, so the smaller size might work out better for you. You can use a longer stem to make the reach more comfortable.
- On a bigger bike, the reach to the handlebars will be longer. This means that if you have proportionally longer arms, you might be more comfortable on a bigger frame.

These are the defining qualities of the Cube Stereo Hybrid One55 C:68X, which makes use of up to six different fibre types to meet the specific demands of each part of the frame. The result is a chassis that's up to 20% lighter compared to our Stereo Hybrid 140 frame, but stiffer too – and strong enough to take on the toughest trails. An adjustable head angle and longer reach contribute to handling that more confident riders will love, serving up a cut-and-paste feel that enables tricky line choices even at speed thanks to 150 mm of progressive rear wheel travel. Full internal cable routing reduces clutter and maintenance, and the Bosch System controller is neatly housed inside the top tube and can be controlled via Bluetooth from the Mini Remote. It's the complete package.
The Cube Stereo Hybrid One55 C:68X SLX 750 blends the mountain-taming capability of an enduro-capable bike with the power and flexibility of Bosch pedal assist – and advanced carbon construction – to create a versatile all-rounder. With up to 85Nm of torque from the proven fourth-generation Bosch CX drive, a 750Wh battery and intuitive control from the built-in controller and Mini Remote, it's one of our lightest-ever full-power e-mtbs. Up front there's a 160 mm RockShox Lyrik Select+ fork, and we fitted a Super Deluxe Select+ shock at the rear for 150 mm of progressive travel. Fast-rolling Newmen Performance wheels are shod with Maxxis Assegai 2.5in and Minion DHR II 2.4in tires and brought to a halt with Magura's powerful four-piston hydraulic disc brakes and oversize rotors at both ends. And Sram GX Eagle 1x12 gears get your power to the trail, for miles of effortless shifting. It's ready. Are you?
