What to do if you are in between bike sizes?
If you are on the edge of two different bike sizes, don't worry, you'll probably be ok on either size (rather than thinking that one size will be awful and the other will fit). Indeed, bikes are adjustable: the seatpost can slide up and down, the saddle can move backwards and forwards and you can even switch out parts like the stem for different sized ones to help the bike fit better.
Finding out whether or not you should pick a bigger or a smaller frame is sometimes as simple as personal preference, but there are a few simple ways to work out which might suit best:
- If you’re flexible, you might prefer a shorter head tube, so the smaller size might work out better for you. You can use a longer stem to make the reach more comfortable.
- On a bigger bike, the reach to the handlebars will be longer. This means that if you have proportionally longer arms, you might be more comfortable on a bigger frame.

Equipping this Meta SX with differentiated 29/27 wheels is not a trend we follow. This way, the bike has a much more balanced grip between front and rear: the large 29-inch wheel up front allows for more confidence and climbing ability while the 27.5-inch rear wheel offers more handling and responsiveness. The result is a bike that is more agile and easy on the hill, more efficient in braking and more dynamic in pushing.
In terms of geometry, a 10mm shorter reach, a straightened steering angle and 10mm longer chainstays allow the rider to be repositioned in the center of the bike, bringing more forgiveness and precision in technical passages.
In addition, the Meta SX is equipped with a Flip Chip on the shock extension to adjust the geometry to best suit your style. This system allows you to influence the bottom bracket height as well as the steering and seat angles in a matter of seconds. Depending on your preferences, you can choose between a dynamic bike, perfect for big pedaling trips, or more progressive, ideal for days in Bike Park or on more committed lines.
