Description
Top-of-the-range 29" wheel, hand-mounted in Dynamal aluminium offering an excellent weight/stiffness ratio, an alloy with excellent mechanical properties, enriched with magnesium and silicon. On this model, the Spike Race 33, Spank has focused on strength and stiffness with its OohBah design and internal width of 28mm / width 33mm. The rim has been engineered to reduce pinching and tyre movement at low pressure (BeatBite technology) and the BeadNip double hook technology improves tyre fit.
The CNC aluminium Hex Drive hub features 102 engagement points with 6 pawls.
Main features:
- A high-performance alloy rim designed for freeride, enduro and downhill racing.
- Tubeless ready with anti-burp rim hooks to prevent pressure loss and hold tyres firmly in place.
- 32-hole rim with a 28mm inner width and 33mm outer width to optimise tyre distribution and improve traction.
- The rim's corrugated centre gives it exceptional strength, making it stiffer and allowing the rim to be widened without adding material.
- The Shotpeen finish increases the life of the rim and makes it more durable.
- CNC Hex Drive hub with 102 engagement points.
- Top-of-the-range Japan sealed 2RS annular bearings enriched with Finish Line teflon grease, for unrivalled reliability over time.
