Designed for the particular requirements of electric mountain biking, this 27.5" wheel is fitted with aluminum rims with pinch puncture protection. The E-Deemax S benefits from all the latest Mavic technologies.

The right wheel-tire combination can help you perfect your technique and improve the performance of your electric mountain bike on challenging off-road courses. The new E-Deemax S is specially designed for electric mountain bikes, and equipped with unique technologies for smoother handling and guaranteed riding pleasure. Our patented PFP (Pinch Flat Protection) technology works with rims featuring an increased contact area between tire and rim, greatly reducing the risk of lacerations and punctures.

The 35 mm rim width allows you to reduce tire pressure for improved traction and reduced rolling resistance. Our patented Fore technology features a completely sealed upper rim bridge that eliminates the need for a rim tape, making it the simplest system for mounting tubeless tires. ISM machining removes material from strategic points on the rim, reducing weight without sacrificing strength.

The new Black Shield treatment protects them from scratches and abrasion. We use 28 straight spokes (same spoke length throughout) to ensure a strong bond between rim and hub. This hub is equipped with our highly reliable ID360 double ratchet system for rapid engagement and efficient acceleration. Designed for 6-hole or Center Lock brake discs, these 29" wheels are compatible with Shimano HG9, XD and Micro Spline freewheel bodies and come with UST Tubeless valves, spare spokes and accessories.
