Description

The Bontrager Pro 7° is a light and strong Aluminium stem.
Its aluminium 6061-T6 conception offer the stifness that you reach for your direction post.
With +/- 7° of angulation, you can elevate or not your position.
 

Details:

  • 6061-T6, 3D, forged alloy construction
  • 4-bolt dual band clamp retains stiffness and reduces weight
  • Opposing 2-bolt steerer tube clamp
  • Uses M5 countersunk, corrosion-resistant steel bolts with 5.2Nm torque spec
  • Safe for use on carbon steerer tubes and handlebars

Need some mountings tips ?

If your handlebar has a high rise (which creates a lever arm) or if you use an aluminum handlebar you can slightly increase the tightening torque, the one indicated by the manufacturers is generally low enough presents no to risk damaging the carbon parts (on which the contact surface increases friction and thus limit slippage).
