Inspired by the diversity of riding around his home in Northern California, Tom Ritchey designed the game-changing Ritchey WCS 4-Axis Stem. It'll perform wherever he rides: long stretches of asphalt, tasty singletrack and endless gravel roads.

With its unique faceplate design, the Ritchey WCS 4-axis holds the bars neatly and confidently and offers confidence and control no matter the surface. And all 4 axes can be reversed to offer 6° of positive or negative elevation, allowing you to easily dial in your fit for a pronounced upright stance or an aggressive attack position.

If your handlebar has a high rise (which creates a lever arm) or if you use an aluminum handlebar you can slightly increase the tightening torque, the one indicated by the manufacturers is generally low enough presents no to risk damaging the carbon parts (on which the contact surface increases friction and thus limit slippage).
