The revolution for VTTAE. The Schwalbe Eddy Current is the brand's first mountain bike tyre for all-mountain and enduro riding. It offers unrivaled performance, even on climbs, and provides outstanding acceleration and technical handling on trails. Its robust appearance is due to its large studs, more rubber and wide sections.
In terms of design, the profile is specially adapted for the rear wheel. The blocks are up to 20% more massive than with an ordinary Enduro/All-Mountain tyre. Aggressive and open design, the central and lateral lugs also have V-shaped notches to provide responsive handling, precise steering and perfect transmission of engine power to the ground, while maintaining excellent durability.
The Super Gravity version of the Eddy Current Rear features the ADDIX Soft (orange) compound. It provides excellent lateral stability and puncture resistance for dynamic riding.
The Schwalbe ADDIX treads are based on a completely new process that uses a higher proportion of Silica, which improves the precision and quality of the tread compound. More precise and more sophisticated, the various ADDIX rubber compounds are suitable for all types of riding, so you can get the most out of your tyres.

Addix Soft is the specific gum for Endure, DownHill and other challenging practices. It replaces the TrailStar gum, improving the longevity, adhesion and optimising the resistance. Addix Soft gum can be used in any kind of conditions and is perfect for E-Bike use as well.

The whole tire, not juste the sidewalls, is sourrounded with Snakeskin protection. The tire is lighter, but more flexible, robust and resistant. When combined with Tubeless Ready, riders save around 700 grams in comparison with downhill tyre.
