Assembly advice

Thanks to the Disc RS compound, the pair of SwissStop Disc 34 RS organic pads offer powerful, ultra-quiet braking on all terrains. The alloy steel pad holder is thinner (1.6 mm thick) and lighter than standard models, offering ideal thermal characteristics thanks to the strength and stability of steel. A thinner pad holder means a thicker pad, which means longer pad life.

Caution:

Pads must be lapped to achieve maximum performance. Before removing or replacing brake pads, allow them to cool.

Step 1. On a gradual downhill slope, brake gently with each brake for 20-30 seconds, alternating front and rear. Repeat 2-3 times.

Step 2. On a steeper slope, use the brakes for 10-15 seconds, then increase pressure on the brake levers until the bike comes to a complete stop. Repeat 2-3 times.

Pro tip: The front brake will have heated up more than the rear. For optimum performance, swap front and rear brake pads and repeat step 2
