Who hasn't seen it before?
Many people protect their seat tube from dirt and mud by cutting it up and wrapping it around the seatpost and seat tube with clamps. This makes sense, as mud and dirt quickly accumulate at the seat clamp and clamp slot in bad weather and can seep into the seat tube at the next opportunity, causing annoying squeaks and scratches on the seat post.
Our highly elastic silicone Willy does away with this makeshift solution, makes things easier and also nicer to look at - no more and no less.
The Willy is now available in a MAX version for frames with 34.9 mm seatpost and for frames with 34.9 mm seatpost.
Within certain limits, our Willy is very well stretchable and durable. However, there are some saddle clamps that are really too big, with sometimes long or protruding screw heads and angular shapes, which can damage the Willy in the long run, because it is partially overstretched. Therefore we would like to point out that we cannot guarantee that our Willy will work well and permanently with all saddle clamps.
