The Stages Power R crank arm mounted power sensor from Stages Cycling is compatible with all frames that fit Shimano Hollowtech II cranks. Stages sensors are precision instruments hand-assembled in the brand's Boulder, Colorado factory to exacting standards. They are high-resolution Stages Gen 3 electronics with enhanced signal strength for reliable and consistent data capture and transfer. ANT+ and Bluetooth technologies make it compatible with virtually any GPS, phone or smart home trainer.

Although not widely available, some key bike models are not compatible with the Stages Power L crank due to interference with the power meter housing, such as Cervelo's P5 and many bikes with chain stay mounted brake calipers. Stages Power R offers increased compatibility with these models as well as the ability to upgrade existing Stages Power L meters to the Stages Power LR bilateral (dual) meter systems.
