California's northern coast and Santa Cruz Mountains are steeped in highway riding history. To honor him, we named our new top-level crank Zayante, after the legendary redwood-covered climb so named - secret training ground for many local pros. The Zayante Carbon is the ultimate marriage between lightness, rigidity and versatility.

The Praxis Zayante Carbon-S M30 crankset has a Direct Mount spider design allowing you to adapt the optimal transmission for each practice, in this version it comes with a ''double spider''.

The Zayante Carbon is a stiff, lightweight and versatile crankset that combines carbon cranks, a 30mm axle, and a Direct-Mount spider. The Zayante Carbon is delivered with the chainrings of the same brand, the chainring change is optimal there.

With a suitable bottom bracket, the Zayante M30 can be mounted on several models of road frames such as BSA, BB86, 386EVO, BB30, PF30, T47, BBRight.

The Wave tooth profile applies lateral force alternately from right and left on the chain links to actively hold the chain in place. The teeth are positioned alternately further to the right or further to the left of the center of the chainring and the characteristic wave-like motion is created as the crankset rotates. This design opens up larger spaces for cleaning dirt and mud and prevents chain drop in harsh conditions. Wave causes significantly less wear than comparable models and distributes the load over a larger area.

Praxis Works M30 bottom brackets can only be used with Praxis Works M30 cranksets. The M30 axle is a sort of Oversize GXP". It is 30mm thick and tapered to 28mm at the left end to fit the non-drive side housing. A wave washer is used on the cassette side to guarantee pre-tension, and a 30mm housing, opposed by a 28mm bearing on the opposite side.The M30 combines the advantages of wide bearings with the advantages of a robust 30 axle. mm This allows for a secure fit and better transmission of energy.
