This brake makes all others look like toys! By increasing the piston sizes from 10 and 17 mm (master cylinder and MT7 caliper) to 12 and 19 mm, we achieve unprecedented stability and responsiveness, even under the highest loads.

Thanks to the larger pistons, we’ve reduced the overall pressure level. This means that hose expansion results in less pressure loss. The result is a precise pressure point with excellent modulation.

The extra-thick brake pads with 40% more volume and the thicker brake discs double the time until the next maintenance. The much greater clearance between the pads and the brake disc facilitates adjustments during maintenance.

Thanks to the double oil volume in the expansion reservoir, the GUSTAV PRO rarely needs to be bled, and the new bleed valve ensures simple and clean bleeding.

Thanks to MAGURA EasyLink, the hoses can be disconnected from the brake lever at any time without special tools, and shortening the lines is also possible in just a few seconds thanks to the EASY TUBE concept.

The GUSTAV PRO is optimized like no other brake for use with the Bosch ABS system.
