Deore XT M8100 brakes feature a new master cylinder with 2 points of support on the handlebars, to deliver a sharper braking feel. The levers also feature a thumbwheel for adjusting brake travel and a dead travel adjustment screw, so you can fine-tune your brakes, even on the move.

The2-piston caliper for XC use adopts the same design as previous XT M8000 calipers, meaning that G02A/3A/J02A/3A resin or G04S/J04C metal pads are compatible, while the 4-piston version has been completely redesigned, and uses the construction of the XTR M9100.
