Description:

The Magura MT5 brake features progressive and powerful braking thanks to 4 independent pistons offered at an affordable price. All the DNA of the MT7 can be found in our MT5 downhill and enduro model. Reliable, robust and lightweight.

The entire MT range can be used for all types of riding without restriction

Details :

  • Compatible with Royal Blood eco mineral oil.
  • Reversible lever.
  • Supplied with shortening olive and user guide.
  • Weight: 392g.

Levers

Magura has developed a new material, Carbotecture, a carbon-based manufacturing process in a thermoplastic matrix for maximum strength.
The levers are ambidextrous, so they can be mounted on the right or left. The levers now feature a new, more ergonomic shape.
The MT features a lever guard adjustment via a T25 screw
Maintenance is child's play, since a single Torx T25 wrench is all that's needed for assembly and bleeding.


The caliper

4-piston caliper Made of aluminum (hot-molded aluminum) in 2 bolted parts. Its open shape facilitates heat dissipation.
The hose can be rotated
New seals combined with the shape of the pistons ensure that they return to position even in mud or frost.
Supplied in the original Postmount format without adapters.


The pads

Magura Endurance 7.2 pads
Combined with magura pads, the brakes are less noisy



WARRANTY 5 years: waterproof with replacement as new
