Description
Optimized for 160 to 180 mm travel, the Fox 38 fork takes what made its little sister Fox 36 the benchmark model in Enduro, but in a bodybuilt version.
The forks feature a number of innovations: bleeders to balance the fork's internal and external pressures, air/oil ramps for better air pressure management, optimized lubrication of the upper seals, a new hoop for even greater rigidity, and a floating axle system to ensure perfect alignment between fork and hub.
The Tee-Pivot-Plunger assembly has also been optimized by the brand, with the fork featuring an olbonde-shaped tapered pivot with differentiated internal diameter, a tee whose diameter has been increased to 58 mm, and 38 mm plungers. As you can see, the rigidity of the Fox 38 will not disappoint.
On the spring side, the Fox 38 uses the brand's trademark Float air system, but with a few improvements to increase progressiveness and reduce friction.
On the hydraulic side, the Fox 38 benefits from the new GRIP 2 cartridge whose VVC (Variable Valve Control) technology, hitherto reserved for high-speed rebound adjustment, has now been extended to high-speed compression adjustment, further improving the operation of the brand's most renowned cartridge.
