Description

The Fox 38 fork is the bodybuilt version of its little sister Fox 36, the reference model in Enduro, but optimized for 160 to 180 mm travels

The forks have many innovations: bleeders that allow to balance the internal pressures of the fork with the external pressures, air/oil ramps allowing a better management of the air pressures, but also an optimized lubrication of the upper joints, a new arch offering an even better stiffness, and finally a floating wheel axle system that ensures a perfect alignment between the fork and the hub

The Tee-Pivot-Plunger assembly has also been optimized by the brand since the fork features a tapered pivot with a differentiated internal diameter, a tee whose diameter has been increased to 58 mm and finally 38 mm plungers. As you can see, the rigidity of the Fox 38 will not disappoint you.

On the spring side, the Fox 38 uses the brand's famous Float air system, but with some improvements to increase progressiveness and reduce friction

. On the hydraulic side, the Fox 38 benefits from the new GRIP 2 cartridge whose VVC technology, for Variable Valve Control, until now reserved for high speed rebound adjustment, is now extended to high speed compression adjustment, further improving the operation of the brand's most renowned cartridge.

Float damping:

The FLOAT air damper developed for the 32, 34 and 40 forks is lighter and reduces the force required to release. It offers excellent sensitivity over small bumps regardless of rider or pressure setting.

Similar to our FLOAT shocks, the new FLOAT system features self-balancing negative and positive chambers. This provides the appropriate pressure for each rider. The progressiveness of the damping curve is adjustable with air volume spacers so that riders can fine-tune the behavior of the air shock.
